Open Hearth Style Storytelling

What: An informal storytelling session where you can just listen or get the opportunity to tell your own stories. For new and aspiring storytellers.

Alex Patience is a gifted storyteller with experience of telling stories in the UK and Canada. Her favourite stories are coastal and island folk tales, steeped in mystery and mythology, and she loves exploring the link between traditional stories and our contemporary lives.

Who: Suitable for over 18’s. Whether you are new to storytelling or already a dab hand.

Where: In the bar at Lews Castle, Stornoway. This is an informal session. The bar will be open and people will be able to buy food and refreshments if they so wish. The bar will also be open to non-participants.

When: Friday 17th November 7-9pm

Price: £4 + booking fee (online), £6 walk-in
